this song is incredible. it has a sense of mystery and power. cue vibes. anyhow, i think i might be right in sying this is an intro piece or towards the beginnning of the game? if not whatever. it has a subtlety to it that i really like, and i have to say i am sort of reminded of parts of LOTR. still very soothing.

hey Klace. love the new song. but i have to agree with david. the cymbals and gong are overpowering everything and it takes you from dream to wide waking if you know what i mean. try quieter suspended cymbal rolls, and quick quiet cymbal scratches. maybe instead of a gong you could use a splash cymbal or something or just turn it into a cymbal roll but remember, it has to be quiet.

but seriously, yeah this piece is awesome. a lot simpler in style than what you usually post. still very nice sounds like the sound levels were a super bitch to balance. but the end result is awesome. since this is sorta a newish thing for us, your fans, and because it kicks ass, i feel it deserves this

PS sorry i haven't figured out how to make the letters turn shiny silver white and dance.

Hey Nate! I'm glad you liked the song so much. It is a new thing for all of us, I've never written something quite as distorted as this.
I'll send you the newer version of My Vision (the one on the site) through email for you.

hurah! a few words in regards to the song. my musical career has always been in percussion so believe me when i say that the drums and bass line were way to overpowering. give the treble an amp up and find the rest of the file so we can hear what it sounds like complete.

well let's see. i won't say this was bad but there definitely some things that weren't good. the opening fanfare for one was way to powerful and drowned out everything else. the balance was off as well. although the choice of instruments was good, i think this needs a bnit of improvement. not bad though.

since this isn't your work the actual creative process is limited. but i do have to disagree with david on this one. i don't think you've just been throwing ripped midi into a sequencer, but if you plan to keep doing this then i would try and add a personal flare. and dave always remember, as long as credit is given wher credit is due, this is a form of appreciation, not theft or misuse.
